Food was exceptional. The mixed greens, beets, pears, and goat cheese salad was fantastic. The side of spaghetti was so good, but with the seasoned parmesan cheese, fantastic!
Partook of the Monday special and left quite satisfied. Had the tuna bolognese and with extra cheese it was tasty. A bit light on the tuna but fine. The special comes with a soup, large salad, choice from three mains and dessert. Also a choice of house wine or a beer. At $21/person, a nice price. Know that the portions are not the huge plateful you might expect. My only complaint was that the soup that comes in a small cup already, was almost embarrassingly under filled. A white bean soup is not the place to short portion the customer. Let them fill up on bean soup!
The dessert was a small portion of blueberry cheesecake. There was a large proportion of the delicious graham cracker crust and that makes a cheesecake all the better for me.
The olive oil and cheese-herb mix on the table makes a wonderful bread dip and adds to the value of the meal.
Service was attentive, friendly and quick.
There are daily specials all week and I might check out some of the other ones before the height of summer.
Went on Spaghetti and Meatball night. Menu advertises meatballs but you get 1. Specials are good value but the $11 romaine salad did not live up to it's pricing.
The food here is excellent and so is the atmosphere. The veal chop is out of this world. I implore you if you go there order it and have them cook to the temperature they recommend. All the pasta and sauces are homemade and great. They have a specials all week long and they are worth trying. Great place for a special occasion. One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten at. Plus the best cannoli I have ever had.
Cozy Italian restaurant. Somehow my reservation for Valentine's day dinner was not on list but we were seated immediately. Ceasar salad was served either with no dressing or a very little amount. Bread was handed out by the slice. Main course of clams linguine was gritty and salty.
Although a cozy, romantic ambience eatery I will explore other restaurants when visiting the area.
