Henlopen Pizza Kitchen

I'm not a pizza snob by any stretch, but I do enjoy new England style pizza the most. I heard great things about HPK and was excited to try it and was very disappointed. Not sure what everyone has been raving about but the pizza really lacked flavor. Perhaps they were having an off day? The Chicken tenders were very good so I certainly enjoyed those. The place also looks like they just moved in without any renovation at all and the bathroom was FILTHY; there was gross stuff all over the toilet and it did not look new...Sorry everyone, I don't like leaving bad reviews but this experience deserved it.

This is our 4th order from this establishment and we have no complaints. As a former NYr this is the closet place that has come close to a NY pizza. I love their eggplant too, wish they did it as a plate/dish and not just a sandwich.

Has got to be the best pizza I've had around here so far. Ask for well done and they nailed it. Awesome sauce, Gd and crispy,. New go to 🍕 👍👍👍 10/10

Great Food, great environment and even greater service! The pizza is really good and the hot sandwiches are amazing, the bread is homemade and the ingredients they use for their food is fresh. I’ve almost have tried everything on the menu 😁Also, try the chipotle old bay wings trust me

This place reminds me of the classic pizza places I'm used to from growing up in the NY/NJ area. Crispy pizza without being too thin. We've tried the Buffalo chicken pizza, cheese pizza, chicken parm sandwich and fries.
