“This place is a hidden gem. I had a mix of vegetables, potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, squash, onions, mushrooms, and beets. It was one of the best meals I have ever had. The beets were to die for. I ended the meal with the peanut butter pie and vanilla ice cream. It was the creamiest, smoothest delicious peanut butter pie that I ever ate. I highly recommend eating here.”

“Great beach! We try to go at least 10 times every summer with the kids. It's great for all ages too! Whenever we go there's usually a few different groups of people that let others join in their football game, catch, badminton, Etc... Also, lots of kids, so if you don't like kids, I guess don't go. Lol but we've never had a problem with anything or anyone here. So it's a personal favorite spot of ours!”

“My husband and family have been to Shrimpy's Pub on all nights. And including New Years Day for there brunch after the New Year's Eve 2019 party at Shrimpy's Bar & Grill on Rt 1 in Lewes De. Both Shrimpy's Grill & Pub have a great a staff, excellent food, fabulous drinks and great entertainment. You can't beat the atmosphere at either place. The owner have taken the time to create a unique inviting atmosphere to each individual eatery & water hole. It feels like family, do the staff. Never a bad meal, Salute! The Shrimpy's Pub what a great little New spot to hang out with friends and watch sports. Enjoy good food, a great atmosphere, entertainment, fabulous drinks. The staff is the best. If you like the pub your'll love the Shrimpy Grill on Rt 1 its larger and a full gourmet menu. Plus Open Mike on Monday's.”

“We crossed the border in to Dewey looking for some breakfast and we stumbled upon the Sunrise Restaurant. A small unassuming roadside joint sandwiched between two hotels. My wife ordered the Mushroom and Cheese omelette it came with home fries. The Omelette was a light and cheesy folded delight. The potatoes were grilled and seasoned to perfection just like mom used to make. I ordered the Gyro sandwich with fries. The gyro has huge stuffed with meat, feta cool, crisp lettuce, and fresh tomatoe along with the required cucumber sauce. It was the best gyro I have had bar none. The pita was so light and fresh it was a very delicious meal.”

“I was so happy to find this place, and will definitely go back again on my next visit to the area! I sat in their covered and heated outside area (which is dog friendly). After spending a fun and freezing few hours at the beach that day, I wanted to continue being outside but not battle for survival against the elements. They even had a huge fire pit blazing - and bocci ball?? - but unfortunately that section of the outdoors wasn’t covered and I was too much of a wimp! (It was my birthday, okay?! They hooked me up with a free slice of cake with a candle. It was really sweet of them.) They had a bar outside, and brought our food to us, and it was pretty good. I has an IPA and a Sour that I enjoyed. Otherwise there was an extensive beer list and also ciders and cocktails to select from. Lots of food options too. I’ll bet a summer evening by that fire pit would be really fun!”

“My fiancé and I went to The hideout last night for dinner. We had never been there before but thought it looked cool! We were not disappointed. Our apps came out fast, were delicious and large portion sizes! The entrees were delicious as well (sandwich and Mac and cheese). The pricing was great as well! Our server Alexandra F. Was so wonderful! She was very attentive and nice! The gentlemen who I believed was the manager was always in the dinning room making sure everything was running smoothly. He check on us and thanked us for coming in. The games were the cherry on top! We will definitely return!”
