“Brand New Location in Dover! Very nice. Still very busy after a year now of being open. Good staff. Some what friendly people. The hipsters that are now going there have a little bit of an attitude and look down on certain types of people. Be aware and ready to catch a side eye from some. I had my service dog with me and I was being stared down as if I had 3 heads. Needless to say I made it known that I'm not the one to be staring at. But other then that it's a great new addition to the Dover area!”

“I was impressed these guys were open on Christmas, but super thankful! I was taking a long road trip to Massachusetts from Virginia and needed the break. They guys were nice to fill my travel mug with hot water for free so I could enjoy my own tea. I purchased an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and it was a nice treat considering we hit the road at 5am and hadn't eaten anything in a few hours. The bagel was perfectly toasted and I like that they put the cream cheese on for you, unlike some other places that make you do it yourself. I also love the hashbrowns here. I think it's the flavor that does it for me. They are herbal and amazing when piping hot. Plus, for a buck, you get a decent amount; just enough to suit your fancy for hash browns. The staff at this location was super friendly and I thank them for being there on Christmas day!”

“I stopped in here for a quick bite portable breakfast. The place was clean, busy, and I thought a little dark. The service was fast and very friendly. They had a good selection. There is seating, but I found the whole place to feel a bit cramped, and like I said, a little dark. Maybe that's just hangover friendliness. It was also kind of loud in there. It is a college town after all.”

“It was ok. Coffee was acceptable as was the "bagel" sandwich. The bagel was more like bread or roll texture, not thick and chewy.”

“I worked here for a just over a year. I would still be working here, but it was time for us to leave Delaware. As a customer, I found the staff friendly and fast. As a staff member, I found the best coworkers I've ever had. They care about each and every one of their customers and know many of them by name. I will miss the seeing our regulars every day. Mostly, I will miss my awesome work family.”

“I go this DD weekly on the same day and time because I'm waiting for my kids to finish a class. It's pretty quiet and I can hang in the chairs or take my coffee to go (usually the latter, but I like the option). They always have fresh donuts, which has been an issue at some other locations when it's an off time or later. The only thing I'd say, and this isn't that huge, is the staff definitely would rather be somewhere else... But who knows, maybe they've been up since 4AM making the donuts!”

“Perkins is one of the only breakfast places to have more syrup than the obviously fake maple. The pancakes and waffles are delicious, the eggs are too. Dinner is also good so you'll enjoy yourself no matter what you get.”

“The servers were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty. -I absolutely love to drink coffee, and their coffee was a huge miss for me.. The cup wasn't clean to par, and they covered the fact that the cup was not clean with whipped cream. My honest opinion in short: had I not ordered ☕, this review would definitely get 5 stars.”
