    A gorgeous space with an antique feel to it. Beautiful tables and wall paintings, but the food is hit-and-miss. The first time I ate there it was exquisite the second time it was pretty bad. And that was within 2 days

    The room is beautiful. The staff are friendly. The food was good and normal priced for a hotel restaurant. We enjoyed the breakfasts especially.

    The staff is very courteous and the Federalist setting, as a historically protected landmark for DC, really stands out when you have the chance to sit in the dining room and take in the frescoes and surrounding touches. Salmon salad nicois was delicious! Brunch is a whole other experience you must try!
