Cool atmosphere, stopped in out of the cold with a buddy of mine on a whim. Great happy hour specials with Draft Flights and Nachos! I usually don't like Guacamole but this was a head turner on taste.
My husband and I went here for a late lunch. We chose here because it was only a couple blocks from our hotel. We were pleasantly surprised! My husband ordered the crabbie patties. I had a burger and tots. The crab cakes came with two cakes, sauce, and succotash. The cakes were PACKED with crab, literally every bite. The succotash had red peppers and garlic and was so delightful! My husband cleaned his plate. As for my burger and tots, they were good too. The burger was cooked well and had good flavor. The tots were addictive! I can only imagine how good their tot variations would be. We would highly recommend!
What a wonderful place to enjoy, post Kennedy Center. Bryan the barkeep served up some great drinks and personality. My Tonic G and T was tasty perfect???? Upstairs for dinner, our server Lexi was fun and attentive. The Tonic Tater Tots were hot and delicious and ample enough for three of us. The three different dipping
sauces were so good, we asked for more. My medium rare Tonic Burger was REALLY GOOD. I enjoyed it with.a salad. The Shrimp and Grits were also a big hit! The Salmon entree was given two thumbs up! For dessert, the three of us split the Caramel Apple Pie with Fresh Whipped Cream and Vanilla Ice Cream. It disappeared in seconds???? We look forward to a return visit SOON
Popped my head in for a quick drink after a conference, excellent cocktails, nice atmosphere and a great bartender (Izzy) convinced me to stay for several hours, and return again the next day. I don't go to DC often, but this is now on my 'must go' list over other more relatively 'famous' locations.
Clean and classy joint with a perfectly mixed diverse crowd, from locals, college kids, professionals and everything in between. Exposed brick styling on the third floor reminds me of so many favorite watering holes at home in Chicago.
Love this place! Decided to stop by last month for a drink. Service was wonderful and the atmosphere was great. Came back again to get a bite to eat for dinner and the food was phenomenal! Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the area as well.
