I went to this restaurant for Happy Hour for a friend's birthday. I was a little skeptical because it was a pretty far commute for me but it was worth it! The happy hour deals were good but what was even better was how good the food and margaritas were from the Happy Hour menu! The margaritas were delicious yet fairly strong. I ordered a cheese quesadilla from the Happy Hour menu and it looked small but after I ate it I realized it was very filling and so good! I would definitely go again!

Seems like a pretty poppin' place. Appetizers and drinks were great. Staff are attentive and friendly. My steak is where Alero went wrong. Ordered a medium rare steak. I'm sure they cooked it to medium rare on the grill... but they serve it on one of those hot fajita skillets... which cooks the steak even more... why? It was also served with a whole chorizo sausage, which was a bit dry. I don't know that I'd come back for dinner, but for some evening apps and drinks, most definitely!

I stopped in on a cold afternoon and was greeted with authentically warm staff. Pleasant atmosphere, music, lighting and mood. Very festive!

Has the Tacos al Carbon which were very tasty as were the beans and rice. I wanted a larger serving of the beans though...they were very delicious!

    I'll definitely be back.

Oh...chips and salsa were good too .. chips were a little thin so they kept breaking off...but still good.

Good, delicious portions, fast & efficient service. Wish they would've inquired about separating the bill among the small group I dined with since we ended up having to leave in a hurry. Luckily, we settled it, timely.
