If you eat kosher it's nice to go to a place where you don't have to worry about what secret ingredient is in a dish that's not kosher.
The fries are great, the burger was great, brisket is awesome, and wings were really good! However, I gave it 4 stars because I ordered an expensive dish, the ribs and mashed potatoes. I expected the ribs to be like BBQ or something and it was like braised or slow cooked, definitely tender and falling off the bone but also VERY fatty and the sauce it was in was just not tasty. I took it back after a few bites realizing, I'm not enjoying this and I just got a burger like my husband. I'm definitely going back though. There is a few other things I want to try.
Solid Kosher meat restaurant. BBQ wings good but sauce a little heavy and sweet. Ribs excellent. Lamb 'bacon' burger OK. Prime rib not even OK; tough and stringy. Medium rare was pretty rare. Sides good. Pricey but not beyond expectations for downtown DC.
Good prices comparing to NYC. We've got sandwich and chicken. It was fine. It seems like this is the only Kosher restaurant in DC, so I am glad that at least there is one restaurant. Size was good, wasn't so small.
Great kosher place. Nice atmosphere. The staff was very accommodating. And good food.
Tasty food. Fast and friendly service. reasonably priced and good portion sizes! Would come back again if passing through DC.
