Food portions were large and the staff was friendly. The order was made quickly and we were in an out within 10 minutes. I wish there were more options available -- it looks like they are falling into the amazon/uber/grubhub vortex where they are being told to make more "american" foods such as pizza/burgers/fried etc... I definitely liked the food and hope they can refocus on what makes them great

Mediterranean Spot isn't gourmet dining, but it does serve great food for what the restaurant is: a casual joint that provides middle eastern-style fare in generous portions at very reasonable prices (for DC). As others have mentioned, the place is clean and the staff are attentive and friendly.

Ate some of the best gyros I’ve ever had, for a very reasonable price (~$12 for a wrap). The service was questionable to say the least, but the owner was super nice and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend stopping by

My WHOLE meal was fantastic. The grape leaves were on point, the hummus was some of the best I've ever had, my shawarma combo was fantastic, and more food than I needed. I don't live in DC, but when I visit again I would love to come here. The gentleman that ran the place served us, and cooked. He was attentive, on point, and friendly. Excellent food and customer service.
