Daikaya- Ramen (1F no Reservations) - Izakaya (2F)

Came with a decent size group of 8. We were sat in a both which was tight totally our fault as we showed up with 2 more than our reservation so sitting was tight. But our service and food was well worth it. We ordered several (20+) dishes to share. Our server was great he had great recommendations and explained menu items perfectly. Grilled avocado is amazing and so much more. Definitely get reservations and check this place out. FYI no ramen up here only downstairs but dont worry you won't be did with this menu!

My friends and I love it here! A cozy location, but the food is well worth the wait! I always order the vegetable Ramen with the spicebomb on the side parentheses as seen in photo. Feeling thirsty try the citrus Jasmine green tea! It is light and refreshing and gives just the right amount of sweetness to get you through a spicy plate. Over the years this place has become more popular, so it's busy even when there isn't an event at the Capital One Arena. My recommendation is have at least one person get there early, has your name to the waitlist, then head to the bar upstairs, and wait for them to text you for your table.

I absolutely love Daikaya. It was my favorite Ramen outside of Japan until recently. The wait is always long, but it’s always worth it. Go get a drink over at Bar Deco while you wait!

I went this past Saturday with a friend before a Capitals game and had a special evening. The Sake selection is fun and pretty extensive; definitely a bottle for everyone. Customer service was top notch and the ambiance was relaxing.

Be prepared to order at least 4 dishes for two people as the dishes are fairly small!

Highly recommend before an event or as an outing itself.

The Hosts was on point. I think her positive and professional attitude made it worth waiting an hour. The simplicity was awesome to see, the taste even better. The aroma, spiciness, and perfect texture...wow! Look at those colors. Kudos to chefs working hard too.
