One of my favorite minority owned restaurants in the city. The food is great, the vibes are great! The best time to go is for their weekend brunch.

If you don't mind waiting, it's with the wait. If you do mind call in ahead of time to skip the line!

The lemon wings were some of THE best I ever had!! Yams are a bit too pureed for my liking but the flavor is fantastic! And the mac & cheese?! Fresh, cheesy, creamy, noodles still got a bite and not mushy. Their greens are in the top 3 I've had from a restaurant!!

Small spot and the Food is on point!! Service is Great!! Good vibes and def a family atmosphere!! When we come in town we def will stop by for a plate!! We both ordered the wings Mac and greens- Excellent choice. However we seen some other things ordered by guest that we def want to try! Thanks for the experience!

Oohh's & Aahh's is one my favorite places in the district. From looking at the menu the prices may look high, but the portions are massive and the food is delicious. It gets pretty crowded at times, but even when there's a line out the door you can usually get a table upstairs.

I have yet to have anything that I didn't like. As for sides, the cabbage and yams are fantastic, but the potato salad is probably the best thing they have. The Mac 'n' cheese and other sides are great, but I've found my favorites and stick with them. As for mains, the short ribs are fall off the bone tender, and their tangy barbecue sauce is a perfect match. Meatloaf, fried chicken, baked chicken, and catfish are also all great choices.

It's a tiny place that doesn't fit your typical farm to table profile that is so common now, but I love it more than all of those places. Have dinner or some late night chicken and waffles. You won't be disappointed.
