Service is always just so so. Food is good. Should probably get better bartenders, drinks never taste like they are supposed to or the same

The food and drinks were great. I think this place has a very fun vibe as well. The only reason I am docking a star is that our waitress waited so long to come get our drink order that the manager needed to come by and get it. When she did stop by and found out we already ordered our coffee she left without taking our food order. We waited an extremely long time for ordering everything and our bill got very messed up. I'm chalking this up as a rare occurrence and would still definitely recommend based on the food offerings alone.

Great place! Great menu that the kitchen delivered on, outstanding service and fun atmosphere. Personable and helpful staff, especially Christina, who was a pleasure to get to know. Staff was very attentive to my elderly Mom. Definitely keep at top of list if you're in the area.

Good hip spot for great healthy options. A lot of good choices for vegetarians also. I think this is one of the best spots in the city for meat eaters and non meat eaters to enjoy a nice meal. Everybody eats b! The service is always nice too. I had the coconut ice cream with white chocolate bread pudding. It’s amazing cuz I don’t even eat bread pudding! But I eat this one.

When I’m in DC, Busboy and Poets is always on my list of things to do. This could have easily been a 5 star experience however it took longer than usual for someone to come to my table and acknowledge me. She said she didn’t know I was here.

I ordered the sweet potato pancakes with cage free scrambled eggs. These pancakes are so good that I crave them every time I go back home to Charlotte, NC. They are perfectly flavored and cooked just right. If you don’t have a huge sweet tooth, you could really eat them with no syrup. Also, the fresh squeezed orange juice is really good. It’s $6 for a large however in my opinion, it’s well worth it. It’s like my breakfast dessert.

The staff is friendly overall. The place is large with plenty of seating. It houses a bookstore in the waiting area and a bar. Parking is limited in the area but there is street parking available if you’re lucky enough to score a spot.
