Laliguras

This Indian-Nepalese restaurant is superb! I enjoyed a dinner with my parents here for the first time tonight, and we all fell in love with the delicious depth to our dishes. We started with an order of the Pakoras and one of the Vegetable Momos, both of which were scrumptious! Tonight was our first time trying Momos... they were squishy and melt-in-your-mouth, as a good dumpling should be! For dinner, my Mom ordered the Chicken Sampler, my Dad ordered the Lamb Curry, and I the Malai Kofta, a vegetarian dish. We then had our desserts to round out the flavor-heavy meals; Gulab Jamun, Ralawai, and Rice Kheer. Laliguras has truly AMAZING food and the atmosphere of the restaurant compliments it so well! Many thanks for the great service; we hope to come back for more Momos (and a few other jewels)!

Love this place for their spicy Vindaloo's. Also get another dish whose name escapes me but is also good. Comes with rice and naan. Portion and price are both good.

Very good food, excellent service. Best in Washington DC. I recommend that everyone should eat here at least once.

This place is such a hidden gem! The cuisine is not only affordable, but also delicious and an excellent value. The wait staff have always been remarkable over the past year of frequenting the restaurant and you can tell they care about providing excellent customer service. Laliguras is steps from the Red Line and is a great stop for dinner or happy hour festivities.
