Low key ambiance meets affordable and professional service at this Brookland pub. I've been here a few times and am always satisfied. Great value and relaxation.

Visiting from LA and this was one of the few places in DC where I felt comfortable. There's enough diversity in there, you won't feel uncomfortable as a minority.
Bar had plenty of seating and it wasn't packed. Loved it.
Bartender was also the waiter. He was very attentive and kind. Drinks were good and strong. Food was good old-fashioned bar food. Kitchen does close later in the night!

I've only been here twice but each time was an enjoyable experience. Great bar food, down to earth bartenders, and a great social spot to chill or watch a football/basketball game. I aim to become a regular.

Cozy bar with some good beers and decent food (had wings and catfish poboy). Nice mix of a dive with slightly upscale decor. Friendly bartender.
