The best 'speakeasy' cocktails and bao in the city! However, my favorite menu item is 'try one of everything on the menu', which is only around $30 bucks! I wish more places did this so reasonably!
hidden gem, hard to tell it exists from the other side of the street. amazingly flavorful and cheap street style food, and $14 fancy cocktails. one of my favorite spots in dc. head upstairs for a small, close-quarters, low lit bar that provides a comfy atmosphere... or get your food to go after a night out bar hopping on H st, in the bright and colorfully painted kitchen downstairs. oh and they give you goldfish as a snack at the bar upstairs when you sit down ^_^
Cool place. The dumplings and skewers were yummy! I got a bourbon mule and it was delicious. It has a cool, underground type of vibe.
Came here for a couple of drinks after a work event downtown. Super fun environment, great music and a friendly staff. I really enjoyed their Fancy Burger & Garlic Fries. To drink I ordered the Tequila Mockingbird and it was deliciousssssss. I ended up coming 3 times.
Fantastic cocktails. They have a list of classic cocktails as well as a chalkboard with their specials of the day/week. If nothing suits you, just let the bartenders know what sorts of spirits you like, whether you like your drink booze forward, sweet, tart, spicy, etc and the master bartenders will whip up something perfect. I try to stop here every time I'm in town and it's always worth the trek to the H Street Corridor. The Chinese food is good too!
