Went for brunch on Sunday. Although we were the only people in the restaurant, the food was totally amazing and delicious. I would have never guessed based on the location and atmosphere, but it was really really good!
We came here for restaurant week expecting a really impressive eating experience, and while the food was fine, it wasn’t something out of the ordinary. The French onion soup was bomb. But the French toast and bis bistro biscuit were mediocre. Likewise the sorbet and creme brûlée were both very tasty, but not enough to come back and pay full price for.
We did a private event here. The Room was extremely small for the amount of people and alternated from warm to cold. That said the food was great, and the service was also wonderful.
I have been eating at Bistro Bis for 18 years and I’m never disappointed. The service, drinks/wine, food, and ambiance are spot on. It’s a great place to people watch too, as I often spot politicians and other DC celebrities doing their business. Kudos to the entire team at Bistro Bis for an amazing experience!
Excellent service delicious food wonderful ambiance. We can’t wait to go back!! Of course being associate with the Hotel George is so convenient!
