I came for restaurant week, but I would recommend the restaurant overall for anyone who is looking to have something healthy and local while also spending a little more. The food is delicious and the portions are just right. The restaurant has multiple dining rooms, one of which was in a sunroom-type area where we were able to watch the snow fall while enjoying a business meal.
Valentine's menu was wonderful. It was incredible to have a fine dining plant based meal. We had a chance to meet chef Todd Gray and we love what he and his wife Ellen are doing to encourage plant based food and sustainability in the restaurant world.
Been here a number of times over the past 20 years. Had not been for a year or two and i wonder why we have not put Equinox in our regular rotation. Great service, comfortable seating, a nice hum to the room. And the food and wine were great. The rack or pork was legendary. We will be back...soon.
I don't know cost ratio because I was at a work event. But the food was amazing! It's got a nice quaint yet sophisticated look inside. There were nice dividers so we felt we could still interact with each other at our event. Every single dish was so delicious. Such great and unique pairings of ingredients to create mouth watering dishes. Even ingredients that I generally don't care for, I found myself cleaning my plate.
Nice ambiance, lovely decor, attentive wait staff, and pleasantly quiet so conversation with dinner mates was easy. Parking garage next door was very convenient. All the food was fresh and very good, but a little uneven in places -- that is, some elements on the entree plates did not 'speak' to each other, nor elevate the plates to something truly special.
