I love the sandwiches and cookies here. Would be 5 stars if the dining area was cleaner. It's always worth swinging by here for a quick bite when shopping nearby.
Great authentic European desserts and Delicacies and sandwiches as well as hot drinks like hot chocolate and different types of coffees. The setting is very similar to European cafes and even outdoor seating reminds you of Paris or other European cafes. Service is sometimes hit or miss but all in all that experience is nice.
This bakery has so much potential to be good but it's the customer service brings it down. It's a small coffee shop and there isn't a lot space to sit down. Georgetown is a neighborhood that is world renowned that brings many tourists. The servers there are friendly but are overworked because of the high traffic. The owners of Paul Bakery are unethical in the way they charge customers. We order a vanilla latte, cappuccino and ginger latte which are individually priced priced on the menu. However, when the bill arrived, each drink was listed with additional charges for the flavors. If the ownership hired more workers for the weekend rush, then I believe the experience would definitely be much more enjoyable. Check the place out but bring your patience and be ready to wait.
Paul is an amazing bakery, and inexpensive choices. We went there for coffee. I had iced latte with chocolate croissant. Everything was perfect. The second floor has great view to the M street if I’m not mistaken. The decorations of the store is amazing especially the second floor.
Paul bakery is a great place. Great coffee. Espressos. Sandwiches. Even better chips!
I liked Paul's better when one could have a glass of wine. Nevertheless for upscale sandwiches and great coffees it's the place to go. I have to add several locations throughout the city!
