Dacha Beer Garden

Plenty of good beer and food. Heated in the winter--I was perfectly comfortable without a coat. Good service.

Dacha is the closest you'll get to an authentic Bavarian beer garden in DC (despite the word Dacha being Russian). Perfect for cool evenings in the summer or brisk shoulder-season days, Dacha has an extensive selection of beer and mead on tap, and a good bar menu with pretzels and bratwurst to keep you ordering beer after beer while you take Instagram pictures in front of the Sophia Lauren mural on the side of the building. The garden is also dog-friendly so expect to see lots of pups here. The line can get long during peak hours, so try to go early to snag a table!

Earlier close down than I'd prefer, only thing not making it 5 starts. Great selection, knowledgeable staff, good with recommendations. Heaters make it nice and toasty outside even in the winter. One stop shop toilets were interesting, never seen those before...

One of the best Biergartens in DC. I love coming here year round; in the summer it’s beautiful for happy hour (tho it gets crowded) and in the winter they have heating lamps and it’s much less crowded. It’s outside and open but covered on top too so the weather may color your opinion on the place. The drinks aren’t cheap, boots will run you ~$20, but the environment is very cool and the food is very tasty and hearty. Great happy hour spot and good for large groups!

Great outdoor space. Has plenty of coverage if it rains, and heat lamps when it gets cold. Orders are entered into a tablet, and so are payments, so everything is super fast. Great selection of beers. And friendly, fast service.
