    Easy access oysters, friendly bar tenders, better than expected brunch. Hard to beat.

    This place is such a gem. I've been coming here for years, never once been let down. tonight was with a first date, and it was perfect, very low key, very quiet, great atmosphere, superb food. Still my favorite bar.

    Casual beach bar atmosphere. Good selection of beer. Sticking with the beach atmosphere, some beers are served in a can with a coozie. The menu has some tasty offerings. I recommend 2 items from the menu... Smelt (a small, light fish, slightly larger than an anchovie) served fried. The only place that I know that serves smelt. Very tasty. Also, if you're a hot dog fan, you MUST order a hot dog here; you'll thank me later.

    We stopped in after a day at the zoo and we were not disappointed. The fried oysters were delish! We also enjoyed fried calamari and the peel and eat shrimp, all over some well priced and well poured cocktails. I recommend stopping through if you're in the area and up for a quick bite.
