Too Loud! Food and drink great and staff friendly (but hurried...not their fault...restaurant packed). Would go back with small party, but probably never more than 4. Mix and match taco plate excellent.
Good service, good food. The bar was full on a Thursday night. They suggested sitting at a table which was very kind. We ended up ordering tacos and guac etc. It was all delicious.
Cocktails were delicious. I had an amazing margarita & then a delicious fruity sangria. Food was delicious. Meat was extremely tender. I had a flan for dessert & it did not disappoint. Would definitely go back & recommend it. Hostess was extremely friendly. Staff was very professional & attentive.
We've lived and traveled all over the country (world - 30 Years Active Duty Military) and had much better "Mexican" food. I never expected food in this establishment to be 'bland'. My meal and my wife's meal were good, but we had to used the provided salsa's to improved the flavor. Perhaps they do this on purpose, as everyone has their own "spice" level. Taco's were very small (3-4 inch diameter). Our friends raved about their food, so there ya go. Mixed review. Too noisy and cramped for us. If you get stuck at a middle of the room table, good luck maneuvering your way to the restrooms or even to leave after dinner. Prices of some menu items, very good. Overall experience OK, happy we tried this place, but won't go back. One and done. Much better places in NW DC to eat for the same prices.
More like a 4.3 star place, so I gave it 5 to up its average. Prices are not cheap, but the food quality is pretty good. Margaritas are made fresh — no mix. Guacamole was clearly freshly made, and the entrees were quite good. I had paella for 2, and it was enough food maybe for 3. And quite good at that.
