Carmine's Italian Restaurant

It is a very nice place for families and big groups. The food is designed for that. They almost do not have small portions, only for brunch I believe. The plates are big, like for at least 3 persons, so plan before coming here. The food is enjoyable and the service very friendly.

One of a kind eating experience. Been eating in carmines for decades in NYC and DC.

Huge portions...family style...not inexpensive place. Everything delicious. You cannot avoid over eating and over ordering!

Really delightful service and delicious food. Prices seem high when you first glance at them, but the food is served family-style and each entree actually serves 3 or 4. We ordered one entree and dessert for the 3 of us and still had about 2 portions of left overs. Atmosphere was good because staff is so friendly and energetic, but still quiet enough to have conversation around the table

I had a nice meal with my family. The service was superb. The food itself comes in large heaps which is great for sharing but not particularly great. It's not bad either, just so-so. The dense Chocolate Tort (picture) was amazing though.

Our family really enjoyed our entire meal!! The Rack of Lamb were the die for!!!! ???? Calamari was fresh and tasty. The Chicken Parmesan... WOW! One of the best I’ve ever tasted. Customer service was excellent. Our server Malcolm was phenomenal! He was friendly, tentative and knowledgeable about the menu. Other staff members were very diligent and friendly. It was a great dining experience for my family and I. We will definitely continue to have our annual New Years Day dinners at Carmine’s!
