We loved our time at The Pig. The food was very good and the service was even better (Thanks, Dave!) Try the pig tails for an appetizer. Only get the shank if you're really hungry. It's a large portion. We split the apple crisp for dessert. Wow, was that good!
Great service, awesome cocktails, great alcohol selection, including locally brewed beers. Reasonably priced. Will definitely be coming back.
They service is always top notch and the food is great. The cornbread is reason enough to come in. There is ample bar space for solo dining, but also a decent sized dining room which is lively but not too cramped. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is because not all of the chef's choices are preparations which suit my personal tastes, although they are all perfectly executed.
Good food. Had shrimp & grits. Enjoyed their twist on the French toast as well. Coating made them crispy and crunchy.
Food: Everything I had here was packed with flavor. The face bacon is definitely worth trying. Kinda like an unctuous pork chop. Sausage sampler was homemade and paired with sauces well. Pork chop was on the bone (flavor!) and grilled just right leaving a hint of lingering smoke. Sauce on it was memorable.
Atmosphere: Very chic setting with mixed materials (leather, wood, metal) . Fun and inviting. Great place to meet friends or meet new friends.
Service: Was friendly and for the most part was on game
