Four stars because this is one of the best sandwich places in DC, but their hours are absolute garbage. What kind of place closes at 6pm? And at 3pm on weekends? Am I supposed to eat dinner at the same time as my grandparents? You’re in the middle of a college campus why do you close so early?? Their business would drastically increase if they didn’t close at such an early time. They also start packing everything up over an hour before they even close so you basically have to go at noon on the weekends or you can’t order soup or Mac n cheese. Sad!
This is our second time here at the location in DC. We absolutely love it! The first time we were here we found it randomly by accident. The only employee we saw was Sean. He was amazing then. Came back Sean was here again and was amazing again. He made all our food and drinks. He is very personable and hard working. We were excited to get breakfast, see if he remembered us and tell him we were engaged. He made a great impression on us and we have convinced everyone we know in the DC area to come here.
Coffee and service are alright, it's just too pricey and unremarkable to really bother with over any number of far superior options in the neighborhood. The soups are good, at least.
This Place is Great, they make amazing sandwiches up front and sell drugs out the back. One stop shop!
