Great dive bar. 30 years ago I would have been all over it

Basic dive bar with a fairly decent PA in the basement. Good for small hardcore/metal shows, which I was there for.

So this place has a bar/lounge upstairs and a dance hall downstairs. They had great sound all night and the staff was very friendly. I had an excellent experience going there and I would definitely recommend it to others especially when they have music downstairs, it's really fun!

Forget the other “cool” bars in the neighborhood. The Pinch is the real deal. This is a place where punks, heshers, sports fans, and trivia geeks all cross paths at this local watering hole. Come for the friendly service dealing out delicious pub food and great beer; stay to hear some local music talent sweat it out in the basement until the wee hours of the morning.

I went here for lunch on a Sunday and it was quiet with what appeared to be mostly locals sitting at the bar. The service was adequate so I'd give it 3 stars. The food was excellent, but the appetizer came out only a couple of minutes before the meal, let's call that 4 stars. I have to give the ambience 2 stars at best as the furniture is pretty beat up. Their menu has some unique choices so it's worth checking out, especially if you want to watch a game on one their big screen TVs.
