Checkers

I ordered the sweet tea with my meal. OMG, the tea is a box of sugar. It is entirely too sweet to drink with any meal. Perhaps, someone can taste the blend before it is suggested to market to customers. It's too sweet.

One of my favorite spots but very congested. I know of two other Checkers locations that are much more comfortable within the district to get in and out of.

I remember visiting here but it was not for me, it was for my rider. She wanted to grab a bite to eat before going home. If you've eaten at one checkers, you've eaten at them all. I ordered a sweet tea and couldn't digest it. It was nothing but sugar. I know Americans thrive on sugar and most people are overweight but not all of us want Diabetes. Lighten up the sugar in the sweet tea. Just taste it before you finish. If its too sweet for you, it's too sweet for the public. Do better.

I love this place. The employees have always had positive attitudes towards me and my co workers every visit. The baconzilla #2 is my go to. Hopefully they remodel soon. But it's a great spot for lunch for sure. Keep up the good work guys.

I ordered from the Checkers on New York Ave., N.E. I tried their new boneless wings offered in several different flavors. The garlic and buffalo ones are delicious! They offer different sauces too. They were tender and juicy. I also ordered their traditional fries. The drive-thru service was good also. It was fast and the wings were very hot, in temperature. The price was reasonable. If you are a bread lover pay a little extra for a grilled bun!
