Upscale cider and craft beer bar with a great atmosphere. Serving tapas style food that was really tasty along with high quality beverages. If you want to kick your normal bar experience up a notch head on over.
Food is amazing, cider is excellent and the staff is wonderful! I couldn't conceive of a better experience! Went with my wife and can't wait to go back with friends and family.
The cider and the food are so good at ANXO! Everything I’ve tried here has been delicious and they have such an impressive variety of ciders. It can be pretty expensive though. They have great happy hour specials on weekday evenings and it’s usually not too crowded, especially if you come early. If you’ve never had Basque style cider and food you’re in for a treat!
Great food and great ciders, but overpriced and poorly portioned. Anxo is a beautiful little restaurant with kind staff, a complete, well-designed menu, and tasty homemade ciders, but the value just is not there.
We picked through small and large plates and enjoyed every bite, especially the octopus????, but the portions were incredibly small and the restaurant is a poor value. There are many comparable Spanish restaurants in DC that offer equal food and better value. Go for the ciders! But leave the food off the bill.
Very cool place! Low key and not crowded (was there on Wednesday evening). The ciders were good (I tried a few but unfortunately don't remember which ones...sorry). The food was AMAZING! and the staff is very friendly.
It was a bit on the expansive side (about 60$), but I did order 4 drinks (if I remember correctly) and tried 4-5 dishes.
