Holy smokes what a sandwich! Love everything about this place. A true local hole in the wall with fantastic food. Try to remember to bring cash. It might be hard to find a seat at peak lunch time, but it's worth it.
Great food. Tastes excellent but a but pricy for what you get. Interesting and great tasting subs made with very fresh i ingredients.
Had an excellent lunch at Bub and Pop's. Our chicken sandwich and our Philly cheese steak were simply delicious!! The accompanying potato chips were to die for and their coffee is outstanding!! Highly recommend this jewel of a place in D.C.!!
It's very good - hand-made, way better-than-chain designer deli sandwiches made to order like brisket plus a serious cheesesteak. It's a very casual luncheonette style spot, small, about 8 tables plus a couple outside, better to go other than 12-1. They do good breakfast stuff early but the great fried egg combo sandwich is all day. Open in the evenings Thursday and Friday. Saturday night they do an ultra fancy serious small reserved dinner for just 6 or so people as the son is a real chef trained at famous places. Those appreciating mom and pop individualistic eateries will appreciate their efforts to do well. New 12:18: now open til 8 and they are doing those house made potato chips again.
Some of the best sandwiches you will ever have. Quick and friendly service. Family owned and operated. What more could you ask for?
