(January 11, 2019, 12:57 am)Cafe D is an important part of the Catheral Heights and McLean Gardens neighborhoods. There is a wide range of offerings on the menu. At lunch or dinner you can order a sandwhich or dinner entree. Interesting appetizers. Great salads. Well prepared interesting offerings. Saturday and Sunday brunch is well worth a visit. Cafe D is equally good for a late evening snack and a drink. Excellent staff. There is a children's menu and Cafe D has high chairs. Children are as welcome as adults.

We found this little spot when we were headed to the national cathedral, as it’s just a couple blocks down.
Amazing food, great portion sizes, and friendly staff! -

(November 3, 2018, 1:25 pm)A comfortable neighbourhood restaurant where you occasionally see famous political and media personalities. Fairly reliable menu that includes a little bit of everything Americana for omnivores and herbivores alike. I usually have the herb roasted chicken but the lamb shank and steak frites are pretty good too. Breakfast is always good.
