Affordable and fun, they regularly have live music. Easily the best bar in Mount Pleasant.

Great little hole in the wall! Been by it a ton of times but stopped in for brunch on New Year's eve and had great food and a phenomenal bartender. Looking forward to coming back to watch a soccer game!

Marx Cafe was a great place. We visited as a group of about 14 and they prepared special dining and sitting arrangements to accommodate our number. We had very great food and the customer service too was great. Relatively short wait times for the number of orders we placed. They also allowed us to bring our own wine, which they chilled and served us. It was a great experience.
The only downside was the spacing...the restaurant could easily be filled up since it's not too big. I will recommend for a smaller group.

Everyone here is very friendly, excellent service and the fish and chips are great! Most of their entrees are great but keep in mind they do best with pub food. Most nights I’ve been here they had great live music too.
Note: I’m usually here for Sunday dinners or a random Tuesday / Wednesday night Low key wanna go out / eat out. I’ve sat in bar and dining area and both experiences were great. It can be quiet but not awkward and they have local art on the walls.
