Amazing. Their sandwiches are only 5.50 and come stuffed with the meat of your choice, freshly cut right in front of you. The staff is friendly and the locale is cozy and old school

Place is great. Their lunch seems like surplus food from their catering business but cooked fresh. I had the BBQ chicken dinner for under $7. Hand made sandwiches with carved in front of you meat. They also cook breakfast from scratch, $5 plates.

A great meal and an excellent value. Easily the cheapest food around and better than most.

Lastly, overhearing the assistant manager talk this is part of a culinary institution which is why the prices are so low.

The Washingtonian was delicious. One must try it. I use to eat breakfast here about 5 or six years ago. The omlettes are so good. Great place to have breakfast or lunch. Reasonably priced.....
