Food is good. Price is a little high for the quantity that you receive, but the quality is good. The atmosphere is fantastic. Perfect for a date night or fun night out with friends.
The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable even in the bustling streets of the city. The food was authentic and wonderful and the owner came to our table multiple times to make sure we didn't need anything. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the area.
One of the best restaurants in the area, LiLLiES is located on Connecticut Ave. just south of the zoo. Very cozy and warm atmosphere. ..the service is very friendly and efficient without going over the top. Full bar service with great specialty drinks before dinner. Although not extensive, all of the wine selections are great. The food runs the gamut of Italian up to a fine New York strip steak. I have never had a bad meal here and I think that you will agree. And the desserts!! I highly recommend the LiLLiES Brownie and their homemade Tiramisu is really good!!
Give this place a try for a good dinner coming back from the zoo or take a date there. They will be impressed and so will you!!
Authentic Italian dining with a family atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Limited wine list but the choices are all good. There is little to no parking. Stopped here to eat on the way to the zoo. I recommend this place and plan to eat here again.
The food was delicious( Spinach Ravioli and a seafood pasta that included Mussels, clams, shrimp, and salmon in a white sauce). It was divine. I wouldn’t give it 5 stars because there were 5 tables that were reserved for ??? Who knows... yet no one came to sit at them the entire time my date and I were there. Also for a restaurant labeled Italian they surprisingly did not have a bunch of Italian options to choose from. After expressing that the waitress politely and amusingly said it’s Italian/Mediterranean.
