Civil Cigar Lounge

This place is an gem in DC. It’s warm, sleek and welcoming atmosphere combined with high quality cigars and drinks makes our evening very enjoyable. Come to hang out, decompress and soak in the classiness!

Best cigar lounge I have visited so far. (Been to some in California, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Cuba to name a few places. I am rating the place not just the cigars selection, he would have Cubans if legal.) They have a huge cigar menu. The drink menu is extensive, burbon, rum, scotch, and most other liquor you have at least 10 to select from. The co-owner we met Paul was sorry he was out of the cigar I wanted, but nailed a perfect suggestion of one similar. He also was all over the place making sure everyone was enjoying themselves.

This place is a hidden gem, came here on a rainy night while passing through the area visiting a cigar buddy who lives in Bethesda. Looked this place up, came here to enjoy a nice night out to relax with a good cigar, cocktail, and some espresso. The service was great and the staff is on point. Their smoked Manhattan I had was impressive. Definitive give it try if you intrigued to, you won't be disappointed.

First class establishment. Excellent selection of cigars, beer and liquors. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

This place has a nice atmosphere. The waiters "ACE" was amazing however the young man at the front was terrible and no personality for a hostess. He did not walk us to our table and when we found it people were sitting there. That was not a big deal, we just camped out at the bar until the people left.
I was truly excited to go because all the reviews spoke so highly of the ventilation and not smelling like a typical cigar lounge but I must confess the smoke was hoovering in the room and at times was overwhelming for a cigar novice. I just hope this isn't the start of the NEW NORM for this place after so many people said it was well ventilated.
