Commissary

Eat here!! We have been in DC for 4 days and had 3 meals here. The staff is incredible, the food amazing and the ambiance is everything we could hope for! Hands down the best place to ear that we visited!

This place is great. Really good food and service. I just recently visited this restaurant for the first time and I was first unsure b/c I was looking for a really good place that has breakfast. I'm so glad I decided to dine in. I ordered the blueberry pancakes with home fries, eggs and Turkey sausage. Everything I tasted was awesome. I will definitely go back and will tell other ppl about this restaurant.

I really like the food at Commisarry, and I appreciate their vegan options for all day breakfast, as well as dinner. Only giving 4 stars because I've always had to wait a bit for the food than you would expect. We also went there with a large group at one point. We had made a reservation well in advance, so they knew we were coming. But we waited 1.5 hours for our food. And when kine came out, my food had bell peppers on it, which I asked to not be included because I'm allergic. And the server accused me of not telling her this. My colleagues backed me up and told her that I did inform her. Also, this was super rude of her to do. If this had been my first time there I would never return. But all my other experiences have been good. They've also got a lovely little patio.

I went here for dinner. This place has a nice ambience. The service was great! They had good recommendations and the server sure looked like he knew the menu. Great job! The food was tasty. They had fall drinks- also very good. Overall, I was very pleased with Commissary.

This was my first visit to Commissary DC and 2 friends joined me. We ordered and shared the Mambo wings for a starter. Then Fall Risotto, the Crab special, and kale cauliflower pizza for our meal. Everything was delicious, nice and light... well the crab dish was a little salty. The group could talk without yelling at each other, because the music was at great level. Ms. Natalie was attentive and pleasant. I'm glad the group agreed to try Commissary DC.
