This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in the DC area. We started off with some nachos and Margaritas. I ordered the hibiscus and my friend had a traditional one. You could tell that the margaritas were freshly made, no premixed stuff here!
I had the salmon mole and it was so phenomenal I wanted to lick the plate, my friend had a few of the tacos and raved about them. I’ll have to try them next time. Although we were stuffed, we decided to share a Tres leches cake, it was the perfect ending. I will definitely be back to DC Corazon, the food and drinks were phenomenal, the service was great and I loved all of the artwork! The prices are very reasonable.
This is the best authentic Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in the DC area. We started with nachos and margaritas. I tried the hibiscus margarita and it was absolutely fantastic. My friend ordered a mango mule and said it was great, he loved the spicy kick. I had the salmon with mole which was so good I was tempted to lick the plate! My friend ordered a variety of tacos. He said all of the ingredients tasted very fresh and kept raving about them, I’ll have to try them next time. Although we were stuffed, we shared a tres leches cake and it was the perfect ending. I will definitely be back to DC Corazon, the food and drinks were phenomenal, the atmosphere is very relaxing and I loved all the artwork!
First time visiting DC Corazon. Amazing experience!!! Exactly what DC is missing. Best Mexican food I’ve had yet in the area. I ordered the Pozole Blanco (Traditional Mexican Stew) Huevos Rancheros, the brunch special, Carne Asada Omelette with hongos (mushrooms) and Flan Al Mezcal (Caramel custard infused with Mezcal). Everyone I encountered was super friendly. Bartenders, Ari and Jose, are reasons alone to come back. Love, love, love the interior art! Compliments to the owner, Josefina, on truly a unique place. I’ll return soon and recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
This restaurant has the BEST, most AUTHENTIC, Delicious Mexican food! The staff is super nice, and welcoming! Definitely coming back!
The drinks were delicious, the food was authentic, and the service was above and beyond! I will be coming back here every time I visit DC.
I ordered from the lunch menu after Dc Corazon opened this week. I got the sopes and they added hongos (mushrooms) at my request. Also came with a side of beans and rice, and I also got tres leches cake (it was a heart but I dropped it on my way home). The sopes were very yummy and flavorful with peppers and some crunch on the base. The beans were actually amazing, somewhat smoky. And the cake was really good especially with the kiwi on top. Super cute spot and great prices. The owner said they would be updating and expanding the menu soon.
