Disbe Good (DC)

Disbe Good should be called Disbe GREAT. Oh my gAWsh 🤤🫠. Lol. The eating that I have eaten here via delivery. Yum yum yum.

Okay, so it started for me with the suya bowl. I tried this restaurant because of the pictures, inspite thinking "Hm, its not very saucy like a Chipotle or Roti, but I like suya so let me see."

Oh, did I see. Did, I, see. It was DELICIOUS. The suya spice on the mea tnad on the side, the Disbe Good sauce. WoW. I don't know how they did it but it was done. Everything went together sooo well, the cucumber tomato salad, the cilantro rice. Fantastico 👏🏾 🤌🏾.

So I ordered that a number of more times. You can really taste that they care about their food and make it with pride.

And then. Next, I tried the chicken fried rice. And next, the chicken suya bowl despite thinking, "I don't think the chicken suya will be as good as the beef suya, but they did that...so let me see,"

And—I SAW.

The chicken suya was (❗). Yes. That was a complete sentence. It was—somehow—competing with the beef suya, which I'm still not understanding because how??

Aaanyway...tonight I'm trying the Kabob Feast. 😎😀.

Update after trying tonight's order—it did not disappoint 😋. And the Dirty Rice is the bomb!

Fantastic takeout out of Ivy City Food Works with tender, juicy suya, fowl chicken suya that I've never seen anywhere else, and otherwise teriyaki options with a good kick as well as burgers with amazing custom mayo!

I had the suya bowl which came with rice and cucumber salad. My order was ready under 15 minutes and the taste was fresh and amazing. The meat was tender and juicy. The rice was beyond delicious and that SAUCE!! Lord have mercy. Go try it and come back and thank me !!!!!
