*COVID REVIEW*

Love Glassey! Their use of spices is authentically Indian while their dishes have fun hints of fusion cuisine in a way I've rarely seen. Their portions are generous and well packaged for pick up / delivery during COVID. It's cool to know their owner is DC's youngest restaurant owner as well!

People with wheelchairs and strollers be warned - it is very difficult to get up the stairs.

The food is alright - the best item on the menu is the chicken tikka burger. There is nothing special about the butter chicken - very bland.

Loved their chicken tikka burger. The fried onions in burger added a different taste to it. Masala fries were the best of all. Overall the taste was good, all the recipes were new.
Cons- it’s a very small restaurant. Would prefer takeout than dine in.

I didn't get to add a picture because I ate the food so fast, but I had the Butter Chicken meal. It was definitely was the best Indian dish I've had in the DC area. The staff was very helpful in answering questions and providing suggestions regarding the dishes as I am not an expert in traditional Indian cuisine. Everyone had masks on and there was sanitizer readily available throughout the restaurant. They also have a nice patio area that keeps you covered from all of the elements with ample seating. I will most definitely be returning to try the Masala Fries and much more.

WOW. This may be my first restaurant review ever, I'm not sure. But. Tonight I had dinner from Glassey and it was AMAZING. Incredible. I tried the Bangin' Bartha Sabzi, the Palak Paneer Sabzi, the samosas, and the Chicken Karahi Curry. Every one of them was fantastic and delicious.

I will say, it turned out to be quite spicy—which I really liked, but if you do not like spicy food you should tell them.

I got takeout, but they also had what looked like 6-8 outdoor tables.

I had learned of this restaurant before it opened, but did not manage to try it until now. I am ABSOLUTELY going back.
