Portion felt a little small for price but food was delicious. Got the halloumi in a pita with spicy feta, very good.
Shop has seating and nice atmosphere

While the food at the restaurant wasn't disappointing, the overall experience left much to be desired. I had a salad bowl and encountered some confusion when customizing my order. I asked about the whether chickpeas is part of the greens for the salad, the staff seemed unsure, lacking clarity on whether it was an available option or an additional charge. Similarly, their knowledge regarding ingredients fell short; unable to name the cheese or specify available varieties for my bowl, their response of "I don't know" left me feeling uncertain. Adding to the frustration was the price point; at $20 for a lamb salad, the cost felt unjustifiably high given the experience.

Impressed. Marketing themselves as true Greek food v. American Greek, Boston-born Greco is more Greece than America. The loukoumades (Greek doughnuts) on the menu prove it.

Walk inside Greco’a first location in D.C. and find a large dining room with a glass side room. The menu is clear and you order like at Chipotle.

There are pitas and platters. Pick one of five meats, a vegan option, and two vegetarian options and add toppings. The pitas come with seasoned fries inside and the platters come with sides like Greek slaw or bean salad.

The pork pita with tzatziki and onions was a delight. It was flavorful and perfectly filling. Their pitas are warm and soft. The classic loukoumades were hot and just a tad sweet.

They sell a variety of bottled drinks but go for the orange blossom lemonade or Greek mountain tea. Those come with free refills and taste refreshing.

There are restrooms, the space is clean, and service is friendly and efficient.
