(May 26, 2021, 1:02 pm)This place is beyond awesome! The young lady at take out as well as the one for indoor hosting were both great hosts (per this indecisive customer). The FOOD!!! Always delicious. Either my stomach is too small or the food is too filling. FYI I got the shrimp and grits, and banana pudding.

(May 17, 2021, 1:46 am)Sorry, I don't have pictures to share. But when I tell you that the presentation is amazing and the food is out of this world! This is my second time at this location but my third time have the food and I have never been disappointed. The staff is outstanding.

(April 5, 2021, 2:59 am)Wow, I wish we had places in Jersey that had soul food as good as this place. My first time here with family for Easter brunch and it was great. I’ll definitely go back the next time I’m in DC. I would suggest making reservations which is what we did but by mistake we made it for the location in Maryland however the owner was so nice they allowed it to be switched to this location as we were clearly in DC and not Maryland so I want to thank them for that. Overall we had a great experience and the food was so good.
