A delicious addition to the neighborhood. Very welcoming, the staff gave me many samples while I waited for my chicken on rice. The chicken was moist and flavorful and the rice was yummy long grain. Included were deliciously roasted tomatoes. I saw a crispy bottom dish of rice, which is one of my favorites; I'll try that delicacy, next. Maybe this will encourage an increase in quality for some other eateries nearby.

This place is great! The best in town. It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. The service I received was so amazing and I will definitely be back again and again. The food is absolutely amazing. Absolutely the best meal I had for a while. I can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) area.

Great experience. Owner greeted every customer who walked in and came over to our table to after the food came out to ask how everything was. He brought over several free samples while we waited and had my boys asking to come back before we even left. Food was great.

I stopped by Maman Joon the other night and was thrilled to see a new Persian restaurant in the neighborhood. The restaurant is immaculately clean and very well done. The people that work there are extremely nice and generous. I had the privilege and pleasure of meeting Peter, a real gentleman and gem of a human. I look forward to making this one our usual family local businesses that we support in the community we are lucky to share with our neighbors.

This place has great, authentic kabobs. Felt like I was back in the motherland. I got the chicken and beef kabob and they were both fantastic. The service is fast and all the employees are very kind. I'm definitely coming back.
