    Wonderful addition to Brightwood Park. Friendly owners, convenient location on Kennedy & 7th, amazingly delicious sushi, and reasonably priced. Also love supporting a small family owned and run business! If you haven't picked up sushi (or something else off the menu) here yet, you're missing out! Expect to get sushi ? here monthly

    Love the food here! They have fresh sushi as well as a variety of panini’s. Can’t wait to eventually try them all! The friendly staff was definitely a plus.

    Amazing place. Great sandwiches, sushi, AND coffee. Great and necessary addition to Kennedy st NW . Highly recommend!

    Great local spot on Kennedy street. The sushi is great and very reasonably priced for the platter. So grateful they are in the area and they've now got another regular.

    Cute spot right on Kennedy and 7th inside the Roots and Blooms shop- Mita Cafe is a delicious and cozy spot for amazing Ethiopian coffee and by far the best sushi I’ve had in dc — and the best priced too. The large platter was a great mix, and the wasabi and ginger amounts were perfect. The fish was beautifully prepared and of deliciously high quality. The owners are truly a delight and such a great addition to Kennedy street. Also they have amazing smelling breakfast omelettes and delicious sandwiches!! Several vegan and veggie options.
