Yesterday was my first time at Jaleo, went with some family who had previously been and spoken very highly of. We decided to sit outside, but upon walking in to the hostess stand the restaurant was very clean and looked covid safe.

This sushi was very tasty, tightly rolled and neatly packaged! We got a few different sushi rolls and miso soup. I usually don't like miso because its overly salty, but this one I liked a lot. We ordered for pick-up and the staff was really respectful of our social distancing. They packed everything super organized and nothing leaked. I recommend

Yesterday was my first time at Jaleo, went with some family who had previously been and spoken very highly of. We decided to sit outside, but upon walking in to the hostess stand the restaurant was very clean and looked covid safe. Once we were seated we were given complimentary hot drinks, nice little surprise. The menu was full of amazing options, it was hard to decide. Luckily it was restaurant week so the specials were amazing. On top of the amazing food, I order a gin & tonic drink which was to die for. I would 100% recommend this restaurant and would return. Overall great experience!

My favorite sushi place in DC. Every signature roll is beyond amazing. My favorite is the Sweetie roll and the pepper white tuna appetizer. They ordinarily have great Happy Hour specials on sushi and drinks. Hopefully we will be able to enjoy these again soon, but in the meantime, I recommend ordering takeout. Their takeout is quick and efficient, having a table set up right at the front door so you do not have to enter the restaurant and you are not waiting around with other people. Sushi still tastes just as good togo.

good inexpensive sushi. some creative rolls (valentine roll) but the tuna had the taste and consistency of Starkist.
