In the running for my new favorite brewery in DC, I've never had an Other Half IPA that I didn't like. They're not just bitter anymore! There's a ton of seating both indoors and mostly outdoors (with heaters set above for maximum heat, which is genius). You can order ahead or even show up to take beer to go too.
The new facility is beautiful. A lot more space than the Brooklyn facility. It's a really cool place to hang out, especially on a nice day when they have it opened up. The beer is of course excellent!
A great addition to brewpubs in the district, because this one produces some truly fine brews. Despite having a footprint in other cities, the Other Half doesn't disappoint with some locally inspired beers on tap. A great place to spend Saturday afternoon sampling a few flights.
First of all, LOTS of outdoor seating both covered and uncovered, so there's plenty of room to sit comfortably. It's got a really cool industrial vibe, with abstract modern art for the beer labels and posters.
It feels very cozy even for a fairly large space AND of course, the beers which have fun names like "Tomato Factory" are delicious. We had their sour beer, lager, and 2 IPAs which were all refreshing and tasty.
I think they offer a beer for everyone, whether you love beer or are someone who typically goes for a lighter drinks.
Also, they have a local food truck come by that offers great food from around the city.
Delicious beer, value prices and tons of offerings -- both on-site and to-go. Great staff and nice patio area. Lucky we have them in DC now!
