Shouk

The food at Shouk is delicious. Since I work in Georgetown, I regularly grab lunch, or at least the hummus and pita bread, at this location. My only complaint with the hummus and pita side order is that the relatively large portion of hummus comes with a singular piece of pita bread, not nearly enough to use to eat the hummus. When ordering, I did not see any option to order an additional piece of pita. After I placed my order, I nicely asked the woman who handed me my order for a single extra pita, since I didn’t have the option on the screen. She was extremely rude and refused to offer me an extra pita (despite my paying $9 for hummus) or explain how I can order it in the future. Despite how good the food is, my experience was tarnished by the very rude and unthoughtful customer service at the Georgetown location. I understand if she was unable to offer me extra pita bread… I was more shocked by the sheer rudeness of her tone and words during the interaction.

Fast vegan food joint. Had the original burger, it was good and everything was fresh. I think it could definitely do without the tomato paste as it over powered the other flavors. The mushroom pita was also good. No need for the extra spice sauce as it has plenty of flavor. Good portions.

I had passed by this place many times and was always interested to check it out.

My first meal was at home through a delivery app. The food was good. It was fresh and clean. The next day, I ended up heading to the restaurant to dine in.

Ordering is simple because they have touch screens available where one can order and pay (credit card, mobile pay…). The interior is simple and enough for dining quick on your way to another plan.

The second time, the quality was still good and everything was tasty.

I ordered the classic falafel, and it was a revelation. The falafel balls were perfectly crispy on the outside, while the inside remained moist and flavorful. The portion size was generous, making it a great value for money.

You come in and find 3 touchscreen monitors to your right which you use to order everything you want. Then they will call your name to pick up the order if they are too busy or bring it to your table if they aren’t too busy. Love, love, love this spot and I wish I found it sooner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
