Not from DC I was just visiting for the weekend. My hometown has a pretty solid pizza scene so I know good pizza when I get it. We kept it as one of our options since we were close by But my wife being the critical one didn't really care for the look of the place so we walked right past it. I told her on the way back I'm getting a slice anyway I don't care. Omg It was ridiculously good. As we stood there on the corner tasting it we went back for more. Very good.

Came here with my family, super hungry and all ready to try a new place. Our first experience here was delicious and wonderful. We shared different pizza's and we enjoyed every single one. My daughter is very picky when it comes to pizza and we were wonderfully surprised to see her enjoying her pizza to the last bite. We enjoyed to neatness of the place and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. We will return

Calling all pizza lovers! This place is a hidden gem!
If you're tired of boring, greasy slices, Slice & Pie is about to change your life. Their pizza is next-level delicious, with a quality you won't find everywhere, and all at a seriously reasonable price. These slices are DAMN near perfect – the crust is crunchy perfection, and the cheese is the perfect amount of gooey goodness.
Bonus points for: N.Y. Cheese, Burrata, Pepperoni, Mushroom Truffle Slices

I walked pass this place a bunch of times but never noticed it. One day I decided to go in a try one of their slices particularly the Detroit. I never knew how much I would like hot honey on a pizza. Outside of the place bit out of the way and smaller then Wise guys. I'll definitely be going back to try more.

Went to Slice & Pie in DC recently and had a bit of a mixed experience. The pizza itself was decent, with a good crust and fresh toppings. However, it wasn't quite what I ordered. There were a few missing ingredients, and the overall preparation wasn't exactly as described.

Even if it had been true to the menu, I wouldn't rate it as exceptional. It was just average pizza, nothing particularly memorable. The taste was okay, but not something to write home about.

What did save the experience was the friendly service. The staff were attentive and helpful, even when I brought up the discrepancy with my order. They were apologetic and offered to remake the pizza, but I opted not to wait since I was short on time.

Overall, Slice & Pie wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. It's a decent option if you're in the area and craving pizza, but there are probably better places around. If they focus on accuracy with orders and maybe elevate the flavor profile a bit, they could easily bump up that rating.

Would I recommend it? Maybe, but with reservations. There are better options out there, but it's not a terrible place either.
