Warm and cozy with a nice happy hour and great staff and service. Attentive without intrusion. Wife loves the fireplace. We got a free appetizer because there was a mistaken order so they asked if we would like to try it. Delicious -

(February 14, 2020, 6:36 am)Amazing friendly staff, great food and the rooms are magnificent in a vintage setting. I love the claw foot bathtub, very romantic. I love that the inn is employee owned. Drinks are superior to any other hotel by far with house made liqueurs and such. We are booked for a staycation for our anniversary this April and plan to have our wedding here too! Can’t wait to go back!

(February 6, 2020, 1:33 am)This bar is a true delight and a rare find. Old country feel to the bar and the staff makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. All of that aside, the cocktails are inspired and delicious. And they have a great happy hour! Highly recommend.

(December 28, 2019, 4:48 pm)This is my absolute favorite restaurant in DC. The food is really delicious and always unique - I have never had a meal, appetizer or dessert that wasn't awesome. The service is terrific. The atmosphere is charming, beautiful, cozy, romantic and old fashioned cool. I have arranged Christmas parties for 2 companies in the private rooms upstairs and both were fantastic. If you can only go to one restaurant in DC, this is it!
