I have and always will support Tatte bakery! I loved it in Boston and could NOT wait for it to come here and it has not disappointed. Additionally, tonight I ordered their new dinner menu which not only was insanely delicious and flavorful even with delivery (didn’t taste like takeout at all) but they were so sweet to send me a free bag of their house made granola and a thank you note! It is touches like that that make me feel so confident in supporting and loving Tatte! Not to mention the dinner comes with a side salad and cookies.

Beautiful cafe with fresh and fantastic food! Awesome addition to the West End. Really love the breakfast and bakery items. The iced teas I've had have been good too. Service has always been great - I have waited in line, ordered ahead for pick-up, and gotten delivery and never had any issues. Would suggest ordering ahead of time for pick-up since the line can get pretty long during peak hours. They even gave me a free treat and left a really nice note for being one of their first Uber Eats orders - so sweet!! Definitely recommend!

Pastries looked tasty, but disappointed that they don’t have any vegan options but the bagel. DC has been pretty sparse on vegan pastry talent compared to SF, Boston, and NY. Chef said he could make a few items vegan by not adding an egg and removing the cheese (although you will get charged for the egg and cheese). The rest have butter. I tried a cappuccino and the Jerusalem bagel. The bagel was edible, but forgettable in taste and texture. The oat milk cappuccino was good (love Stumptown), but over frothed. 3/5 on my experience.

Food was delicious. Snagging Outdoor seating was a bit competitive.
