It takes a lot for my partner to be impressed, and he was. The staff are amazing. The chef is awesome. The best guacamole and eggplant I have ever had in my life. Our server Dusan is extremely knowledgeable and personal. I have a nut allergy, and my partner is a pescatarian, and we both left full and very satisfied. I highly recommend and the drinks are simply beautiful!

Ticks all the right boxes. The food was next level, perfect portions and presentation. Small menu but we had to try almost everything, and it was worth the experience. The next awesomeness was the cocktail menu, unique & hits the spots just right. Decor was interesting, table was set simply so plenty of space to serve and eat comfortably. Expensive, but worth the experience if it's just for drinks, or more with dining. There's late night dancing and DJ as well, but we didn't stick around for that.

Verá Cocina nestled in the heart of NE DC, is a culinary oasis that beckons with Lebanese-Mexican cuisine. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is well trained to explain all the dishes and drinks.
Definitely a great choice if you would like to experience quality of service and food.
Great for large groups too!

This place is like no other dining experience. Immediately I felt like I was walking into a vibe that truly took my breath away. It took me to Mexico instantly with the warmth and love of Lebanese flare. Everything from the decor, to the menu, to the experience is unique and there wasn’t a detail missed. I traveled two hours just to get a taste of it and it didn’t disappoint! The flavors were beyond what my palate could even imagine. I also had the pleasure of checking out their private dining accommodations for private parties and events and I can’t wait to take advantage!!! Also, don’t get me started on the unique selection of tequilas that will blow your mind! Ultimately, if you are sick of the routine dining experience and want to experience something truly magnificent and flavorful - I highly recommend making a reservation immediately. I can’t wait to go back and continue trying more of what Vera Cosina has to offer!

Love this place!! We spontaneously ended up coming here for brunch for my birthday and I was really impressed by the whole experience - from the ambience and vibe of the place, to the cutlery, the service, the menu selection and all the fine details! The food was exceptionally amazing and of high quality as were the mocktails and the dessert!! We enjoyed it all and will definitely be coming back to experience more of this place!!
