Hogan's

One of the best sandwich places I've been to in awhile. They bake their own bread and have a great selection as well as daily lunch specials. Can't beat it for the price and overall great atmosphere. The staff is always welcoming and very friendly. The decor is great, they have old newspaper trimmings under the clear resin on the table tops.

I am in awe that I just got an 8 inch fully loaded sub with a side and beer for $6.70...it was a special but all of their prices seem to be “special.” The environment is laid back and low key, and the staff is warm and personable. Great place to slip away to after a long day of work. The music is on point, too!

Decent sub shop. Cash only payments and don’t let all of the military memorabilia fool you, they don’t offer a discount. Food is pretty good but you’ll definitely be waiting for it.

The food is amazing! However, the owner is so cheap. 60¢ for a refill on watered down soda...cash only...cheap napkins. I could understand if the business wasn't doing so well, however they always have business and stay busy because the food is so good. It's a shame that they can't repay their customers loyalty with some decent quality napkins, non-watered down soda, and by taking credit cards. It's 2018 for Christ sake.

I was all sad because there's no Potbelly here in Gainesville. Turns out there's no reason to be sad because there's Hogan's. And good sandwich shop is a necessity. Tonight I was tired from cleaning and unpacking and when Boyfriend asked what I wanted for dinner, I responded, "Food." Because sometimes you just want good, solid food. Nothing fancy. Don't mess up my food with sauces and all sorts of trendy spice. Hogan's has that food. It's simple but fresh and yummy. And if you are so inclined, you can have it put together in creative ways.
Hogan's has a neighborhood dive feel to it. I love that. Good music and a laid back vibe. Perfect for dinner after a long, hard day.
