Satchel's Pizza

Fun environment. Live music. Good atmosphere. Make sure to check out the bar and toy gallery in the back. If you are being adventurous, sit in the van. It's a little cramped. but I've never eaten in a broken van! Pizza and salad is to die for.

Cash only but they have an ATM machine that charges $1.50 fee. The fee is donated to charity.
Unique "artsy" atmosphere. Lots of repurposed art, decor and sculpture. They have art for sale also.

We chose to dine inside. Our table top featured Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew Mysteries, which brought back fond memories.

They offer salad which is fresh and delicious....there is plenty to share!!

We ordered a medium pizza with traditional red sauce, sausage, red peppers and pineapple. It was HUGE!! It was piping hot and delicious!!

Our server was very friendly and attentive. Other servers also kept their eye on us. Teamwork....what a great thing to see!!

We had a large amount of pizza boxed up to take home. We also ordered an oatmeal raisin cookie, (DELICIOUS!), and a piece of chocolate cake with white icing. The slice was HUGE and very sharable. Kudos to their baker!!!

Funky, fun, atmosphere, great food and wonderful service! We went during the day to avoid the huge evening crowds. The soda flight is worth every penny and reading about the trials the owner went through to perfect his soda recipes is a fun part of the experience. Salad and pizza were perfect, dessert is decent. I'm glad we were able to walk around and explore this amazing Gainesville treasure!

Excellent pizza! Great menu choices..best homemade ginger ale ever! Super awesome staff. Great hangout spot and good music..you haven' had good pizza unless you have had Satchels..

Satchel's was a great time. With a limited menu Satchel's does few but does it right. Their salad is delicious and the pizza was great. A bit pricey but nothing outrageous. Very hipster vibes in the atmosphere. Service was average.
